Schools We Help

Often water will appear from nowhere just pushing up out of the ground when this happens the owner is sometimes unsure whether it is ground table water or a leaking or burst water pipe.

These photos show the water in the parking terrain where the school dug up the tar to look for the leak. After digging a few holes they quickly realized they needed some expert advice. So we tested the water and compared it to samples from a tap on the premises. Many indications such as PH level, Nitrates, Sodium, Flocculation Chlorination Total dissolvable solids etc guide us in our identification of the source of the water. A sample of the soil is also taken to see what effect the soil had on the earth it filtered through.

In this case at the school there were other areas where the pipes where leaking but not under the parking lot tar surface. So the correct solution here is a drainage system. The correct diagnostics can help in the correct rehabilitative or remedial works to be costed - bring cost down.
