Kwikot 600kPa Safety Valve

The purpose of a safety valve is to check the electric water heater from over-pressurizing or overheating. The valve is set to start operating at a pressure of 1.5 times the normal working pressure of the valve.

The purpose of the Drain Cock is to allow cold water into the electric water heater and to drain water from the inner cylinder.

Duvet's

The geyser duvet is a top of the range geyser cover consisting of a quilted lofted polyester inner with a aluminium foil laminated to a spun bonded polypropylene membrane on the outside. The end result is a sturdy insulation blanket any geyser would be proud to wear. The geyser duvet combines the radiant heat retention qualities of aluminium foil with the thermal insulation capability of a quality fibre insulation. Save money by conserving energy by using a geyser duvet. A geyser can use up to 60% of a monthly domestic electricity bill.

The geyser duvet comes as a complete kit and is easy to install.

1. Using the adhesive tape provided, install the end pieces as indicated.

2. Place the geyser duvet over the geyser and fix in place with the strapping provided.
   The strapping buckles must be used to secure the strapping.

3. Using the cable ties, place the cut pieces provided over the inlet and outlet pipes. The geyser kit consists of the following:
   Geyser Duvet: 1.25m x1.53m
   2 x end pieces
   2 x pipe insulation strips
   1 x roll of adhesive tape
   5m strapping
   4 x strapping buckles
   6 x cable ties.

The geyser blanket is a efficient geyser cover consisting of a lofted polyester inner with a aluminium foil laminated to a spun bonded polypropylene membrane on the outside. The end result is a sturdy insulation blanket designed to reduce the energy used by reducing the loss of thermal energy from a geyser. The geyser blanket combines the radiant heat retention qualities of aluminium foil with the thermal insulation capability of a quality fiber insulation. Save money by conserving energy by using a geyser blanket. A geyser can use up to 60% of a monthly domestic electricity bill.

The geyser blanket comes as a complete kit and is easy to install.

Slim Jim

The Slim Jim geyser blanket is energy efficient as it utilizes the highly reflective surface and low emmisivity of aluminium foil. These characteristics of aluminium foil create an excellent barrier to heat loss through heat radiation. The surface fire index of the aluminium foil is excellent, falling into class A of the SABS 1381 specification. A geyser can use up to 60% of a monthly domestic electricity bill.

The Slim Jim geyser blanket comes as a complete kit and is easy to install.

1. Tape the two end pieces to both ends of the geyser using the aluminium tape
   supplied.

2. Place the blanket over the geyser and fix in place by taping the two bottom ends together with the aluminium tape.

3. Using the balance of the aluminium tape fix the insulation strips over the inlet and outlet pipes as shown.

The geyser kit consists of the following:
Geyser blanket; 1.25m*1.53m
2*end pieces.
2*pipe insulation strips.
Aluminium tape.
